Re: What's your trucks name ?

Right now it's called "The Turd."

I was toying with the idea of getting this logo painted on the doors and calling it the "Sewer Rat." (I was raised in Detroit)

Cool Re: What's your trucks name ?

My C/10's name is Zooey as in Zooey Deschanel because the story goes that some people from a town called Hollywood, California came to Nebraska to shoot some film for the Jim Carey movie Yes Man. And were passing through the tiny community on the east side of Lincoln called Walton. And saw Zooey (the truck) sitting beside somebody's building and went asking around about her and, if they could use her in a scene. So the production company paid the p.o. like $200 to drive the truck like a quarter mile. It was supposed to be in a restaurant scene. And the truck was supposed to be just some random truck driving down the street. As of now she wasn't used in the final production or, any deleted scenes either. It had no brakes at the time but, they still paid him to drive it. I've got papers to verify that it happened. And I've always wanted to name my truck but, couldn't think of a name for her and, then Zooey Deschanel came to me from the movie and, it sounds like the perfect name to me.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Trucks name is Lucky. Because more than a few times it's broken down while pulling into the driveway(broken carrier bearing, etc.) And always been able to nurse it home after a failure. (KNOCKING ON WOOD)

Re: What's your trucks name ?

I inherited a '60 El Comino named Buforid. Never had a drivers window (must have fell of the track) only used the key when I left for a week or so. Was used to drive to LAX so it had 2 tanks, one in the foot well of the back seat. (these were made out of station wagons). Picture is not my car it's way to good.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

Well let's see, I'm Brian, so I named my truck Brenda, the BMW is Barbara, and the little bug is Suzy.

You might be surprised to learn that I sometimes talk VERY NICELY to them if they start to act up on me, on some DARK lonely backroad, 5 miles from nowhere of course, at 2 o'clock in the morning.

...and then when they finally get me home...

Re: What's your trucks name ?

“Puddles” or “Puddles the garbage truck”
Known for marking her territory wherever she parks, and breaking for no reason whatsoever thus becoming a 4200lb piece of garbage.
I’m going to get a small vinyl name tag made up that I can put in the rear window.

I call my shortbed “Buzz” and my longbed “woody” like Toy Story movies. Because buzz has all the new gadgets and woody is original.

Re: What's your trucks name ?

What is my truck's name? Depends on how many knuckles I've busted on any given day.

But generally, I just call it The Green Truck.
