Me too. That Hillman is so cute I want to hug it. Couldn't imagine not having a grin anywhere in sight of it.

Once again,as with all picture threads that go many pages over a long period,I'm not sure what I have and have not shown.I really should have some code system so I can x them off as I show them. Also never sure if a picture I have wasn't saved from the thread posted by another member. So,either way,here's one I'm sure no one will mind seeing twice

While these last few entries are entertaining,the content of this 20 or so page thread is automotive related "Sumthin' Differnt". Let's not stray off track. Maybe a thread for this type of thing could be started by someone.

While these special bodied VWs were sold in Europe and a rare few made it here,this guy built this one to the "T" using a few (or more) donor bugs. Extensive sheet metal work went into creating this accurate replica of a rare car:
