Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Do any of you Dallas Texas guys know this truck? I took this pic about 2 years ago, and have only seen it 1 other time going down the highway. I'm wondering about lift and tire size. It has inspired my 2WD to 4WD conversion!

That black cat is suspiciously close to the truck- already the front wheel is starting to rust...

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Yea, it could be that, or it could be the fact that I put those wheels on there in 1985..... I am thinking you are right on that one... maybe I can talk the wife into getting rid of the cat, so we don't have any more damage like that....

Here is my 73 Stepside. This was in 1991 time frame. I am completely rebuilding from the frame up. About this time next year, I will have all the new pictures.

I love the 1973 models best... Also, great color- really fits the truck.

The wheels remind me of this truck- regrettably not mine...

Thanks brother... yea those wheels were pretty cool back in the day. The midnight blue kind of shrinks the vehicle a little. It fit it pretty good. On this rebuild I am still at a toss on the dark blue or brandywine. I am going to go with HOK kandy either way.

Good looking truck, a sport bumper would look good on there.

Don't have a '73 to show off, but I do have those wheels on my '92 shortwide. Next to AR Outlaw II's, they're probably one of my favorite styles.

Ebay find

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-...item41600cf737

This would be a great truck if you can get it for around 10,000 only down fall is the half ton axles.
