Re: My 56 build
I did this exact method to correct it. You can get it 95-99% there and then use a little filler to get it perfect

I’m painting most of the exterior a dark blue with the bronze under the hood, interior and around the windows like a factory cameo. Im hoping to have the cab done by next week. I’ll post pictures

Re: My 56 build
I have finished adjusting the blue. I started with factory hermosa blue (right spray out). Then added blue pearl to get the flop and shade I wanted. I’m going with the top left spray out. Starting on the top, the amount of blue pearl increases as you go down.

Re: My 56 build
Finally started putting color on sheet metal! I still need to tape everything off for the blue, then spray it. Followed by clear. Making progress

Re: My 56 build
The dash… I started with the blue then sprayed the bronze. Now when I tape off the exterior for the blue the dash is done. Still needs clear. I can’t wait to see it with clear!

Re: My 56 build
I like it without clear. For contrast you might consider doing the interior or engine bay in a satin or matte clear coat.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get 4-5 coats of clear on it without screwing up the steps/rockers. Thinking the plan is to clear everything but those until the end. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Re: My 56 build
Cab is in final paint. Just need to spray the raptor liner on the bottom and it’s done.
Here’s a video to go with the pictures. https://youtu.be/OUXTIUfFQtE

Re: My 56 build
The bottom is now complete with Raptor liner. Next is to Color sand the firewall and roof before I put it back on the frame. Figured it would be easier with no frame/engine in the way. I’m currently trying to get it reassembled enough to get my daily driver back in the garage
