Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

Just got back from the track a I ran 11.90@114mph with nitrous. Spinning off the line bad. 1.79 60', I can do that on motor only. I lot better times coming soon, and I know I have to get a different camera guy.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

I guess there are no more pictures. But a lot of good looking trucks on this post. I would just like to see a lot more. I just love these body styles and the different things you do on your trucks.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

This is the 78 Stepside I bought last year. It's on the list to do after my oldest son's truck and the youngest one's Jeep. It looks really good in the pic, but it does need some work!!!

I want to restore it to clone the Chevy Sport my Mom had.......

And just so no one gets this wrong - it's the gf he's talking about, not the truck

its got 4 inches of lift and 35/12.5. the monte carlo is my brothers, its kinda pushed to the side because hes putting new heads on it so its not running right now. heres another pic of it minus the cowl hood it has now. and a pic of it during the hurricane. i guess these links work.http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...s/ec7aba82.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ture5029-1.jpg

Talking Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

Here's my latest.....inherited from my mom...this was my step-dad's truck....he's was killed in the windstorms here in Wa back in Dec.
He loved this truck.....I plan on taking very good care of it!
He always wanted the truck to be as if Chevy had built an SS in '78, kinda like an LS-6 Chevelle, so it's got the '70 SS454 emblems, stripes, etc.....

It's been through a few engines, currently has a 396, but I'll be swapping in my 454 from my last truck in a week or so....

A few better pics and the new engine....
