It was the tool box from a '55 -'57 long bed stepside I parted out. It was bolted to one of the steps.

Glad to here the head is ok, looking forward to see how it runs when you get it back together. How about posting some pics of the engine with the new hop up parts installed.

OK. If it holds together this time I'll be taking it to the chassis dyno to get a base run before the tear down. I'll post pics then.

We will see saturday. Just tried resealing the head bolts last night and now we are going to run a pressure test of the coolant system. hopefully it works. I'll keep you posted.

The pressure test we did revealed cracks in the intake ports of 3/4 and 5/6 on the cylinder head.

Haven't talked to kyle this week to see if he is getting it done for this weekend. We will be heading up tomorrow afternoon and should be up there about 6:30 or 7...

Yes Sam, boosted as in a T4 GT35 Turbo! It won't be done until next Spring.

the one i was looking for was a '67 or so mexican type truck but couldnt find it as fast as this one

nice thing with the L6 is that the exaust and the intake are on the same side wish make the plumbing of the turbo eazier , some of the newer BMW 6's run twin turbo's , from wat i read on tests theres nearly no lag at all
