They emerged from their nests wednesday nite to fight their way out to sea. Due to preditors looking for an easy meal, only 5 out of a 100 will survive..

Took this at a local event this year, vintage Bentley with a 42 litre Packard V12 from a PT boat hence the fake torpedos along the bottom of the body

Re: Pic Thread:Sumthin Differnt
There was a number of aero engine cars there, Brutus, the German car based on a 1930's Seagrave chassis with a 47 litre heinkel bomber engine, the guy that owns the one above also had his Napier W12 engine Bentley there and there was another Bentley with a Merlin engine. Standing between the Brutus and the one above (known as Mavis) when they started up was simply awesome, less of a noise and more of something you felt in your chest.

Re: Pic Thread:Sumthin Differnt
Here's something that came through town this week. I posted it in the 67-72 forum but it does fall under the "something different" catagory i think.

Re: Pic Thread:Sumthin Differnt
Is that a crescent wrench or a type of micrometer to duplicate measurements represented by the space bewtween thumb and index finger. "It needs to be 'this' big."
That is very custom and unique in an industrial style
