No sir the inner fenders are still in the truck. That was one question I did have since I am going big block if I needed to remove them cause I am so low with no motor but I was told the drop springs are tempered different than stock springs and they don't sag I will only see about a half inch of drop. Not sure. I guess I will find out when the time comes.

I thought you going with spindles and coils the fenders had to come out, that was the only thing keeping me from it,appreciate the info. Its a must now for sure.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Id be enormously surprised if you only drop an inch or so with a BB. I would think a SB would drop it at least 2-3". In fact, if you are moderately sized human I bet you can get 2" of drop standing on the front bumper.

That's what I thought too. But I picked up a set of stock big block springs just to be safe. Although I was told drop springs are tempered different than stock springs to make them stronger which the coils are a much larger diameter than stock. Also I have looked for drop springs for a bigblock application and all the ones I have seen do not specify big or small block. Not sure but I guess I will find out.

What is the top and bottom color??? I love it. My 77 burb has the same top and bottom color (neutral tan) as the center of this pickup. It currently has a saddle tan center and I want to give it a little character and that color would be perfect!!!

thank you for all the positive feedback!!! PPG's older Deltron 2000 California Gold, which is actually a late-'90s GM color.
