Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

It's back, This was listed about 2-3 months ago for if memory serves me right $4000 because I emailed to a friend who was supposedly looking for a 133" WB DRW. It evidently did not sell and now they want $7500.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

This seems to be a trend, have seen many trucks in the last 6 months listed, pulled, price raised and re-listed. As if we wouldn't remember... Kinda like a savvy buddy called him and said "hey, I just watched Barrett Jackson dude, that truck is worth 10 times what you're asking!!" It appears to be a nice C30 drw, but think the fair price point was closer to the original asking price. I'm surprised it didn't sell back then.

Hard to say whether a repaint, but it does appear to be the dark blue to match the interior perfectly (unless, of course, the whole thing was repainted a factory correct dark blue inside and out). And I see no indication of paint divider trim along back of cab, so likely originally a solid color. If I were the seller I'd sell those aluminum holey things on CL and stick the steelies he has in the bed back on there. Looks like original outie PO3s too.

72 C10 Custom Deluxe Highlander restored + rally wheels $28.9K
I do believe carpet should be black if originally a Highlander. With no a/c and no tilt, it's either a YG6 or seat-trim only truck.

If you look at the pics of the lower molding, you can see the two tone behind the molding. If they painted it they took the trim off.

Ya know, if someone wants to buy this and pass thru texas with it, I'd gladly pay $1k for the topper... Well, with a few more pics to confirm it's not totally rotted out, that is...

Before headliner trim was reproduced, we cut the top skin off a wrecked Cheyenne so we could release the trim clips from the back. I sent the trim to Mr. G's in Dallas for rechrome.
