Sanded and ground the steelies I just bought from the junk yard for $5.99 each, and painted them white.

Went and picked this one up this afternoon and cleaned it up a bit..........Took the 4 floor mats/pads out of it to get a good looks see at the floors.

Makes me want to go hook up gramps ol Sears finshing boat and go camping !

Now the fun begins... teaching the boy how to weld.....

just going to remove rust, weld up some holes PO had left, found this, under the bondo, and cracks, real metal filler, old school I guess!

Yesterday, I painted the yellow logo and ring in the hubcaps blue. Today, I shot the center with a layer of clearcoat. The steelies are dry now, and everything is ready to mount to the truck

I put on a new electric fuel pump, a new sending unit and and a new dash pad. i still have a long laundry list of stuff to go.

I painted my gauge needles, color was pretty much spot on. Rebuilt my edelbrock carburetor. Much better now!

Well mounted the CB where I thought I wanted but decided to move it over for my cd plyer.I'm putting Cb under the heater controls now.
