I like the air cleaner.....the chip versions are super hard to find as they add at least 5rwhp due to the grease that is scavenged from the sides...

Yes, I am trying to keep the Passlock system and plan on mounting the existing switch somewhere. I would love an old looking solution to my cruise control stalk. I don't even care if it is full function, just on, off and set.

I was only concerned with getting the delay wiper controls out of it but with just a little more complexity it could be made to incorporate the cruise control features as well. It would probably only add an inch to the depth of the wiper knob to make it do both functions.

I would have to tear a cruise control switch control stalk apart and see how it works. It might be possible to reuse the speed set button and on / off / resume slider from the donor in an aluminum knob assembly that ran the wipers too.

If I still had access to solid works I could play around with it some. Not quite as easy now with just regular old AutoCAD solids modeling. Once I get that far on my 69 C20 I will get back into that again.

You could put a square body steering column in there and use the cruise & wiper controls from that vintage. I am half way through doing that conversion to my 67 C10. It is not too obvious of a change that it would look out of place in an otherwise stock 67-72 truck interior with the original steering wheel installed onto it.

I had a 77 (i think) Bonneville that just had a button in the end of the turn signal stalk. Might look better than the multi function.

I finally got the rest of my suspension system, the front Coolride from Ride Tech. I also ordered the Firestone F9000 sleeve type bags for the rear which ride very smooth since I have the room to fit them. I'll be selling the 4 other Firestone double convoluted bags that came with the half price kit I bought from another members failed project.

Now I can't decide what to do next: engine and wiring or suspension system.

Working my plan for not cutting a single wire! Dash of new truck is completely out as well as column. The only problem I was going to have was keeping the fuse panel intact, but still fitting it through the firewall hole. Hmmmm. Solution: Cut out firewall and take it with me ! Ha! Fixed your wagon.
Now that I have had that revelation, I will probably cut out my old firewall and weld this one in with the waterproof grommet already installed.

I'll guess about 40.

On another note, I'm kinda frustrated with Ride Tech right now. The parts list shows some hardware being marked off of my kit like I don't need it, but I do. What the heck? I can't work on the front setup now because I'm missing parts - on purpose !

Here are the holes I did for the cold air intake and with the grill back on they do not show at all. Should be plenty of air for these motors. Sorry but my battery died in my camera after this shot.
