Transmission is getting fixed. v Can't believe you gave away your truck. Now you have to go buy a different one and slam it. Any luck chasin critters. Pretty much decieded the 64 won't run till spring so I'm tearing into it alittle more. Going to fix my front fenders first.

I didn't really give it a way, I will get it back if she get bored with it. And I still get to work on it!! I held out on the right to borrow it on cruise nights and for shows!! I do still have the 71 to play with,

Elk hunting is always fun!!
5 guys went and took 3 nice fifth wheels and one motor home.
Took 4 wheelers and left all the horses home.
Had 3 generators and a satellite dish for two tvs.
Watched both the Boise State football games and several other games .
Definitely did not go thirsty or hungry

Sounds like fun. Where does the spike camping in 2 feet of snow come in. Or the part about how the horses ran away with the meat and our guns.

Re: Daverods project 66

Put some metal on my truck so I could work on my bed. I want to raise it up. Needs a hatch or two in it for the compressor and tanks. I don't know if I like the full cover thing. Need to build a place for my battery. Put the brackets on my spindles and mounted my calipers.

Don't worry there's about four bolts holding it all together. Nice to see you had good weather. And thanks for the bezel thing.

You call this good weather?

We went on a speed boat through the jungle, and it was raining like a *****. I'm getting pretty good at taking pictures of our self. I was driving the boat.

This rain wasn't cold, and it did feel good. It did rain hard because of the Hurricane coming that was near buy. And it got very windy.
Every day we got soaked. It was hard to dry our clothes because it was so humid. Not at all like the High Desert where I live.

Re: Daverods project 66

been to phoenix arizona to visit nathan at his shop , its a verry different heat all together ,
i realy wasnt used to it i usually got up at sunrize and whent back in my room at mid day to sleep cause i couldn't walk for a minute without a drink of water
whent to a carshow near there too and walked from aircoed burgerjoint to aircoed tankstation making pics along the way , i was verry impressed with the quality of those cars at the show people spend a lot of effort and cash to get there cars just right for them
i made a small clip of a 69 camaro there with an engine that sounded like it could be used as the main propulsion for the titanic

Re: Daverods project 66

One fender was rusted in the front, just filled it with a piece of dash. Had to order some more patches for where the fenders attach to the cab. Figure I'll have about $110 for two fenders. Not to bad.
