Very nice!!! When I get around to my "dream truck" build...I plan to make the engine the "jewel" in the engine bay with everything else hidden also....

Very Slick Craftsmanship, did we ever figure out what the dimensions are on the radiator? I was looking at the Howe site and wasn't sure....

Thanks

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

that engine bay idea looks killer man!

not that you need to, but i think if you made 1 more piece to make it flow from the firewall that would make it look that much better! either way, thats a great idea you got there...

I could not find that filler panel on the Scott's web page? Was that a one off for your truck? Any way it looks great on your truck, keep it up!

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

then i started my attention on the air intake system..since everything looks symetrical under the hood, it made sence to make the tube 'y' off the throttle body, rather then go to one side or the other..also we didnt want the airfilters to be seen or hard to get to (more on this later)...so with all this in mind, i made the 'y', cut holes in the inner fenders, welded a 4" pipe to them to make a bulkhead, then put a 90* boot on there, and made the dual ram air inlets...the placement of the in lets were determinded by a couple of factors, i wanted them to be up high enough that road debris wouldnt get in there, the outlet of the bulkhead going thru the inner fenders, and the structual design of the radiator support... with all that to work off of, the placement was determind to be up high, and to the inboard of the headlights..
here are a few build process pics, the inlets measure 6" across, and 4" wide...

So are the aircleaners going to be the 4" tall oval ones? One on each side or how are you going to do that part? I know you said more on that later but....
It's later for me.
