Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Thanks guys, we have made alot of good progress, i am feeling great about it ! QUESTION , i am running a Billet Specialties radiator cap, it is a billlet cover that covers the radiator cap...well i damaged the radiator cap so i need to find a new radiator cap to go under the cover . I know it is a Stant cap but i can not find a radiator cap that fits under it ? anyone know a part number ? I have emailed Billet Specialties

What about a cap with a gauge in it, there are available everywhere up here, but look decent, but not as shinny as a Billet cap though.. Is there not a Summit warehouse in Vegas?? Change it when you get there..

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

will be hoping you find something fast.

Id go ahead and put a request up on uship to have another backup plan.

And look into renting a trailer and truck as a last resort

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

time to call up the sponsors who are at sema as whell , that would be the best bet for a ride to sema , other than drive cloud 9 all the way (would make a nice add on to the story of the allready famous truck )

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Hey, are you not a used car salesman?? Im sure there are trucks in Arkansas too..

I was thinking of the sponsorship thing too, Im sure there is some carriers out there that would love to add this "haul" to there resumes.. I keep seeing the fancy enclosed carriers on the highways up here, and Im sure they are willing to jump on "CLOUD 9" also..

You better get it there, there is going to two trucks that I cant wait to see , maybe even sitting together for a photo or two..

This isn't the first road block that you've overcame in this project. You've conquered the others, don't stop now

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

put youre boss on the sponsorlist as whell , i allmost forgot you work as a used carsalesman and those companies usually have a flatbed carhauler to pick up their cars
you might be able to bribe him with some entrancetickets to sema and his name on the surfboard

Whatever you do, DO NOT hand that beauty over to some frimp hillbilly from the freight broker. You will end up angry. Call reliable or blue highways or horseless carriage tomorrow. All good vibes your way, man.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

We got it worked out , what had happened is that some of the guys going with us couldn't get their builds done in time and the pulled out of SEMA leaving us scrambling to cover our transportation that we thought was all handled ! But that ulcer is over now and we are back on track ! sEMA or BUST !
