Do you still have that vent door assy. (picture #14 shows it)that is on the pass. side of the cab and is inside of the cowl area by the wiper motor linkage and is approx. 6" to the right of the pass. hood hinge? If it still in working condition with the Vacumn diaphram attach. to it-what do you what for it Thanks Ron

Re: parting out 1968 C-30 Custom Camper 28K original miles fact AC, speed minder, cru

Sorry guys, I've been swamped with family arrivals for the past two days, haven't had any time to update photos and verify anything. Maybe I should've held off for a day or two with the holidays. Please be patient for the next day or two. I wasn't really expecting much going on this Christmas but I am loving seeing family that made it.

I should be getting on this early Saturday AM with new pics and updates to those that want condition and prices.

Merry Christmas guys!

Jason

The bumper is not sold but it is bent where someone pulled it with a chain, just below where the license plate is. It's fixable and it's a nice original bumper otherwise. $25 plus the ride if you want it.

Re: parting out 1968 C-30 Custom Camper 28K original miles fact AC, speed minder, cru

Ok guys, here's some photos of some more stuff and condition.

Doors are rusted below speaker holes and in rear lower corners

The seats from what I can find are the correct seats for a walk-through cab, the passenger side looks like it folds forward, they both move back and forth. the are in pretty decent shape. I can't find a support under the cab but the way these seats are made I'm not so sure it needs one, they are very heavy duty. If someone can use these, I'll sell them for $100 plus shipping.

the grill hoops have a couple of tiny dings. and the headlight bezels are dinged up. I'll sell all of it for $40 ($10 per piece) if you want to fix them.

I also included pics of some of the other items you wanted and pics of the speed warning dash for msgross.

Re: parting out 1968 C-30 Custom Camper 28K original miles fact AC, speed minder, cru

That is the buzzer, and in the photo it shows where the harness connects to the cluster behind the speedo and runs to the buzzer which is mounted right behind the AC vent (photo above), the red leads connect near the fuse box, one goes toward the cig lighter (which is for power I think) and the other goes through the firewall and looks to connect with the "brake" warning light ( possibly a ground) I could tell by working on this truck, it has never been molested by anyone other than squirrels and the massive nest under the dash. LOL

the bezel is nearly perfect. It has the correct 4 silver screws on the lower part and the correct black screws flanking the turn signal indicators. The cluster could use to be taken apart and cleaned up and the speedo needle needs a new paint job. the cig lighter has never lit a cig (or anything else).

I believe I was 2nd in line on the seats. From the pics they would fit a blazer's interior more than a pickup. Price for these is reasonable but shipping probally not. I pass on the seats to who-ever is third in line. Thanks seacrow.

Stepping out of line on the grill hoops, headlight bezels, gas pedal, brake pedal, dash pad, seats and seat belts.

Gonna pass on the steering wheel and horn button too.

Re: parting out 1968 C-30 Custom Camper 28K original miles fact AC, speed minder, cru

Another update. I got the truck off of my trailer today and started disassmebly and closer inspection. Here's the deal on some of this stuff.

I've concluded that the doors are borderline shot, so I totally disassembled them, the speaker holes pretty much did the doors in. I scratched the drivers side door panel when I took it out. The vent window is nice, needs freshened up but better than most I've seen. The door glass is in great shape. I ext. mirrors are pretty good they need cleaned up and painted. The armrests are really nice originals. the door panels are really nice except for the one scratch on the drivers side.

The cab is really in pretty good condition, one small spot on the drip rail on drivers side and the passengers side rocker is shot, and some small cab support areas.

this truck has a steering stabilizer (shock) on the front.

tomorrow, I will be pulling more stuff and I'll have updated pics and an updated price list. I have been PM'ing people in order of interest on the parts.
