Re: Most clever forum names
That's a clever one. Makes me think of names like Stomp Start or Stompin'55.

Re: Most clever forum names
My neighbor across the street had a '59 1T step side that his wife's father bought new and used in his gardening business until he retired. 6 cyl, 3OTT long (9') bed. I'd've bought it in a heartbeat, but he was asking $18k. It had gotten a really nice bit of body work and paint (it was in paint jail for 7 years!). He ended up selling it for $8k, and if I had known he was selling it that cheaply, I would have bought it. It was gorgeous! I'd have it instead of making payments on my now-2-year-old car, and would have saved a few thousand dollars. C'est la vie.

Re: Most clever forum names
I always liked my old board buddy Brads board name, Brad. Made me wish I would have just gone with Mark back when I joined, probably was available.
Went with CG, short and sweet. I'm a Copier Guy so there ya go. These days though people think it's short for computer graphics, nope. |

Re: Most clever forum names
Always wondered. I though it was your initials till I learned your name. You sure it's not for Good Condition or General Consensus?

Re: Most clever forum names
Mine was actually a password generated for me by some system long ago... weq92f. Then I decided that I needed an online name that would be available EVERYWHERE I tried to use it. So...Now I have a handle that is NEVER in use no matter where I attempt to use it!
I would rather use UNIXORACLE everywhere, but that one seems to be taken more often than not and I like consistency so WEQ92F it is. -klb

Re: Most clever forum names
Mines a car part related anagram of my real name. Always get a laugh when some joker on an automotive board gets all bent out of shape and tells me the name is spelled Axel... Yeah, but No.

Re: Most clever forum names
LEEVON, my weird first name that I only use on forums and what family that hasn't seen me in 30 years call me. Not clever really, just weird!

My name? Well, what can I say? I'm amazed it wasn't taken when I joined up. At one time back in November of 2004 I was tempted to change to "Lefty". My truck got smashed and the front end was shoved 4" to the left

Re: Most clever forum names
When I was in the Navy my crew called me 'Rockn Rod' - I had the name on this web site before but when I came back after being gone a couple years they said it's taken? I don't think so but you cant argue with pooters.

Re: Most clever forum names
Now that I know,I'd put your's up near the top for clever. Funny, on this forum I see people spelling the car part axel a lot of the time. The same people with disk brakes.

Re: Most clever forum names
"disk" can be rearranged to spell "skid". Maybe it's a Freudian thing?

Black Sheep, they say every family has one. Years ago I was hanging out at our family reunion, trying to figure out who the black sheep might be. You guessed it...

Re: Most clever forum names
That's funny. Mine is kinda corny 3-7-57 for my birthday and I was born to drive Chevy's. I turned down a chance to by a '65 GTO in 1975 for $300 from it's second owner ... said NO I don't want a stinking Pontiac .... what a dumb A$$. But I bought a really nice '58 Chevy stepside instead for $425.
