Re: help with air bags please

If anyone is still reading this for content .. lol

For those who don't know (and I would be one of them if I didn't continuosly post idiotic questions on the Suspension board) -- A "c-notch" is cutting a moon into the frame (and re-enforcing it!) and a "step notch" is building a relieved frame section above the original frame and then removing that portion of the frame altogether.

Some of you have been doing this so long that terms like this are second nature to you and you might forget that some of us are looking at out stock (rusty) frames with a welder in one paw and a bottle of Xanex in the other.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: help with air bags please

Its a 10" step notch that matches the contour of the frame. I could measure it out and give you all the angles... but I might as well give you a plan on how to build it yourself... And I wouldnt be making money off of that would I?

LOL j/k

I'll try to get to the shop tonight to get the measurements for you. Its really rather simple once you figure it out. We went through like 4-5 designs before we got it right.

Re: help with air bags please

Yea. Pretty much just measure your frame. then add the height of the desired notch to the height of your measurements.
