Well i bought my ball valves and all my fittings. Im outa school for a week though and cant put them in my truck

get everything mounted up then you can just put the bags in...the part that take the longest is getting all the air lines in and mounting them tight the bags will take no time at all

Grr. I cant seem to find my SD card reader or id have quite a bit...

All i have a picture of is my tank and my valves...

I dont have school and unfortunately my trucks locked inside the school. And mounting the bags... easy...PFFT. Ever tried drilling through a frame rail...Far from easy. I went and bought some new bits because the old ones were just plan crap.

you just need the "right" bits....I have these, they aren't very expensive and they cut like butter, even through stainless steel.

with the pilot point you don't need to drill pilot holes first.....I use these at work and haven't had a dull one yet, I mostly bend/break them before they get dull. I have drilled some heavy stuff with them.

It is the only bits I will buy....

I bought some titanium tipped ones.

I asked the worker what bit they would recommend to drill through1/4inch plate steel... They said that... Ill find out next Monday if there right or not.

I also realized last night i only bought 3 valves... I thought i bought 4... but apparently not.. Looked at my receipt and says 3.

Next payday im buying the line as well as one more valve, and 3 more fittings.

be sure to drill a pilot hole first and take it fairly easy or you will smoke the bit.

if you get a chance try out the dewalt bits....

Im planning to do the pilot whole ill probably try to use some cutting fluid to.. see how that treats me.

I hate to be an asshat and all but the best thing to use is a UNI BIT ( or step bit) up to 3/4" you'll need it for the air line fittngs now I'll tell you from personal experiance use a T on top of the rear bags one side goes to the air valves to fill it the other is for the dump....if your using electric valves.....or you can put your air guages lines there....keep in mind the closer to the bags the vavles are the less air it takes to air up!!!! if you don't go with the T's plan on a 90* fitting at the top of each bag to get the air lines going in the right directions

on the uni-bit, that is what I use when I need a hole bigger than 1/2"
They can be spendy, but they are worth it, nice clean holes too.

If you do buy a Uni-bit, make sure you get a quality one. There are cheap bits out there, and they suck.

Here is something else to keep in mind about air set-ups that I learned. I placed my valves all the way in the rear just behing the back bumper. 1/2'' with 1/2'' line. The front has approx 10' of line which eats quite a volume of air....this helps with the control. But, as stated above, the rear lines are only about 5' long to the rear bags. When I make an adjustment to the rear it hits so hard it will shake a person in the seat. I tap the switch as lightly as I can. If I dont, my 'burb looks like a sub doing an emergency dive!!!

Were the line will come out its right in the middle of that cross member. I plan to notch it or build a whole new cross member.

Ummm Like I said about 10 posts back plan on a 90* fitting and a short 2" entention....put your bag in loose put in the 90* then add the extention so your air line fitting will extend to the back or front of the memeber......that what I did and it worked like a charm
