Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

Diggin this one up cuz I love the truck!

Real tough question. On one hand I like the stickers it is old style and goes well with the truck.
On the other hand Im kinda weird cuz I HATE colors under the body. I think everything should be flat or semi gloss black, even shocks. But thats just my personal prefrence.

I dont know why I feel that way I just do. All the shock boots in bright colors and chrome suspention parts just turn me off.

DONT get me wrong though I love your truck it looks awesome. I will build a 67 very simular to it some day.

This approach gets my vote. Having been a show judge for many years, I can tell you what I don't want to see. I don't want to see anything that distracts from the vehicle itself. The first thing I see when looking at your beautiful truck is the stickers and the yellow ladder bars.

Anything that is on a vehicle should blend and flow.

Thanks for digging this up.I like seeing this truck.I`m an all black undercarriage guy myself.I like to have to look to find the upgrades, too. An educated person sees them and the rest...does it matter.
I SAY KEEP THE STICKERS...and give me the truck

Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

I like it. Thats one good looking truck. I bet those stickers are right on eye level for most people in a civic. Its kind of a middle finger, maybe more of a held up fist to the new steal drivers.

Its only missing the very old school rainbow color changer Eldelbroch stickers. I have a picture of me on the first day of kindergarten with one of those on my pencil box. Maybe a little too redneck for most.

Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

That is one nice truck. I used to throw my stickers in the trash can. Now I've started sticking them on the outside of the trash can. As far as I can tell in my neighborhood, I have the fastest trash can.

I recently saw a later model "Ram" with a dark blue paint job................actualy anice looking truck..................and the guy had plastered the whole body with every performance part sticker out there.

The thing looked like it was ready to line up for the Baja 1000 setting at the local grocery store parking lot!!!

Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

looks like you have a summit sticker on there.

I'd lose the summit and jegs stickers... but keep the product company stickers

Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

I don't mind the stickers, but please don't put fake fur with wine glasses in the bed. No crybaby's either...

How does that crap get started and why do people think it's cool???

Re: Stickers? too "old School"?

Im personally not a fan of stickers unless there performance ones on hotrods. Or something deserving. The way I see it.... Atleast in the types of trucks we build is that you dont see trucks in magazines with stickers all over them. MAYBE one of 2 very small ones unless it is a club logo. But aside from that I think it is over kill. When you cover the rear window in all the stickers you can find for parts then it start to like redneck. Not saying there is anything wrong with that. Just that it doesnt look quality anymore.

But I like the location and quality of yours so I say rock them!
