Ebay has responded:

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to item # 110105738425 and your

the details of any action taken against another eBay member's account.
This assures all of our members that their personal account history will

Sounds to me that Ebay provides a service, but cannot be accountable for the actions of people that use their service.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

Wow. Nice rig. Do you have any more pictures posted anywhere? The seats look sharp with white on them. I have thought about going with the ralley wheels. They look nice. Where are you located?

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

HI GM! Southern NH another Northeast truck : )

Right now its all original, protecto plate, matching numbers.

I want to add a lift, tires, canvas top and roll bar. Mid-life crisis.

I remember you posting to my first listing here when I joined and I thought

your truck was great, just what I wanted, thats why I noticed it right away on ebay.

I have actually thought about storing this one and buying one all done. The originals are hard to come by.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

It's official: I overpaid for my Blazer. I overpaid by a lot.

Lookingtobuy: I love your Blazer. The white just intrigues me. I have never seen a Blazer with a white interior. I am battling with myself about repainting my blazer. It has original paint, but wears a few minor scratches and a few dents on the front passenger fender. Keep it original, or paint it to look perfect.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Again, great looking rig. We really need to get a bunch of Blazers together at a decent meeting place. Truck Nationals at Carlisle?

While on the topic of buying blazers... my buddy found a real nice bronze blazer in Arizona that is listed on www.collectorcartrader.com.

http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...5/87845825.htm
I really want to buy it but have no place to put it nor the funding to make that a reality right now. The bronze blazers are my favorite. It HAS to be a CST.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

Thanks for the positve comments on the Blazer : )

Sorry, it was painted once , original color, the guy did a great job.

Not sure about the seats they look original, the truck has everything but the tach. shhhhhh (LMC truck has new ones).

That one in AZ is beautiful. I'm torn between doing up this one or buying one that someone has already done.

GM you bought yours mostly done right? Did you have any headaches? Was it done right?. I know if I do all the stuff I want I'll add 10k to a 9k truck.

Do you have an address? I'll go knock on Mr. Tanguay's door and ask him what's up. It's too bad I didn't see this before (I just rolled in from Alabama); it would have been fun to be the high bidder and then showup the next day with the $ for that beautiful blazer.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

All Truck Nationals is held in Carlisle, Pennsylvania August 3-5 (Friday-Sunday). Over 1,800 trucks are in the show field. Big rigs, low riders, 4x4's, and Monster Trucks. We could meet up at a location, or enter vehicles for the show.

Details: http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/truck/index.asp

LookingToBuy:
I PM'd you with details about the Blazer and its "done" status. I care not to share on here at this time as "Mr. Tanguay" may see the detailed history here since he was sent a link to the page.

From the looks of your Blazer, he will turn you into the authorities and claim that you stole the truck he was selling.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

Little more info - I got a reply from my question about looking at the truck in person. He is what he had to say....

"Hi,
First of all,i must apologize for my reticence with selling my car.I love this car and it means a lot to me.I am forced by a bank loan to sell it.The loan does not involved her ,but i need the money and i must do that. The car is like new ,in perfect condition, no marks or need for additional repairs what so ever. The real miles onboard, a great car ready to be yours. It has no accident or any engine problem.
The final price is 6000 or best offer with shipping for free(if necessary in the continental US),since my brother in law works at DAS,and he promised me that it will cost me nothing to ship it to you.I dont want to offend you by anything but if we are going to complete the sale we are going to use Ebay Purchase Program which will cover the purchases up to 20,000 USD.
If you agree with my terms,i will need your name and address and i will contact ebay to inform them about our agreement and to start the program to protect us.If this is ok with you and you want me to explain how the process works, please email me and i will do that.
Thank you and i will wait for your email."

I have the email header info too, if that is any assistance in tracking him down.

It would be a shame if anyone thinks this guy is for real. The grammer horrible. The way he describes the vehicle and circumstance is vague.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

I was able to get the information that I did by plugging the name into this site.

http://www.peoplefinders.com/

For $10 you can pull up his report. I have never used this service, so I do not know what kind of information you would get. I tried to use another site to find a phone number and address and nothing came up. I have a cousin that has another service that might have the what we are looking for. It might take a couple of days for us to hear back from him though.PM me if you would like me to try that with him.

I think with over 60 bidders that this guy had, he just sent out the form letter to all those who responded.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

He did not respond to me. I never indicated that I am the actual owner of the vehicle pictured. I just asked some general questions. I did ask why Northeast was mentioned in the desription when the truck is from Kansas.

Re: Anybody know Greenmonster??

The latest from ebay.

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to auction #110105738425 and our
Item Description or Picture Theft policy.

I can understand how this situation would be frustrating. eBay does not
allow sellers to use images or text from other members' listings without
their permission. If you would like to review our guidelines concerning
this issue, please visit:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/...ext-theft.html

Unfortunately, eBay's Image and Text Theft policy is enforced only on
the eBay site for auction-to-auction violations. Because you are
reporting the stolen images are from another Internet site, we aren't
able to take action for eBay policy violations.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Thaddeus
eBay Motors Customer Support

My reply:

You think I'm upset that the "images" were stolen? I could care less about the images. I'm upset at how little you will do to protect your members on ebay from being ripped off when you (ebay) and I have the inside track as to exactly how this scam artist is going to rip a member off for $6K and produce no goods using my truck as bait.

All you do is send pre-made emails that are not talored to the conversation at hand. Then send a link to read a policy. Rediculous. Thanks for looking out for your members. "You'll find it on ebay." I know what "it" is for me; scams and lack of help. You're right, I did find it on ebay!

I was a huge fan of ebay before all this. It concerns me how they leave members out to dry.
