Pontiac & those spoilers? Could Kilroy be some sort of a trans am truck?

Man, I have wanted to do that for a really long time & the other day I saw one that they put a 88-98 dually bed on and it looked sweet, I wouldn't know which to do

Plus I can't make any sort of a project out of this one other than making it road worthy & fixing things And yes, lowering qualifies for making it road worthy

So I may start looking for a dually frame & a long wide bed to do the transformation !!!

Cool motors for sure, but I just wanna see what kinda pull'n power they have

They're supposed to have a lot of torque & not like to rev much, so it may be kinda like driving a diesel

After I get it on the road & drive it some, I'll prolly put in my NV-4500 trans !

Re: I just wrote a novel

The 88 - 98 daulie bed doesn't look right... I can point out a few key places... the pic of the yellow one up there is VERY close to what I want to do to the longhorn one day.

Re: I just wrote a novel

I know the 88-98 doesn't line up great, but I have a few ideas about how to solve that

I do like the idea of using a stock long wide & adding the narrow fenders for the duals

It's just that I have a few of the 88-98 dually beds lay'n around

I would think that a 1-ton frame is thicker, so IMO if you're gonna have a dually you might as well be a 1-ton

Speaking of DG

I went back the other day when I was in town & talked to Domingo
And he still wants $25 bucks for that crap, but actually gave me a good price on that grill I wanted (so I need to go get that grill some time)

It's definitely (or defiantly) done in the 70's, and we all know the 70's weren't good for the style of anything (hair, clothes or vehicles).
Love that drop, that almost looks cool from the side, even with the JC Whitney bolt on's.

Lookin' better. I'm gonna do my doors like that with the black insert and yellow door (a little different shade) I'm still up in the air about how to paint inside the cab. I've got ya beat on the seat thing...Mine was bolted to a plywood frame and just sit in the cab...NO BOLTS. Made for easy removal though. I think our P/O's shopped at the same place for carpet though, that shag looks very familiar.
