Re: Getting closer on my 67 stepside

It s basically a boat fuel filler tube and cap. I originally ordered one from Brothers, but they went on backorder so I ended up getting one from Overtons marine supplies...and for about half the price. Here is a link to what I got:

Re: Getting closer on my 67 stepside

A quick update on my truck. I got my roll pan on and windows tinted. These were the last things that I wanted to do to consider the truck done....as much as "done" is possible. I will try to get some pictures up.

The bad news is as I was driving home today after getting the windows done, I started hearing something banging around underneath the truck when I slowed and went into a right turn. Not sure what it is, but I was happy to make it home. I had already broke my carrier bearing and put a beefed up one in, so I'm hoping that is not the issue. I don't know what to think right now, maybe a cab mount, broken motor mount...just not sure yet. I guess I'll climb under it and start poking around. My friend also got stuck in the passenger side. The wire for the door latch came off. I guess this is my shake down period!

Look at CPP's new carrier bearing. I think it will solve your problems.
