Give it to your little bro under the condition that if he wants to sell it he has to sell it back to you.......start him in a nice old reliable truck and you two can work on it together and you can teach him finacial responsibility and respect for a classic truck and his own ride........

Great road trip story!!Andy may need to go somewhere. I say keep it.I mean you already did about half the restoration,just getting it home.

Dang Nick. What a trip. That must have been some pot hole to break the dually. Body damage, electrical damage, ball joints. Holy Crap! I know how you feel about 6.5's though.
Your adventure sounds a lot like one the car craft guys did a couple of years back where they bought a mid 60's skylark ragtop out of town then proceded to get it running and head back to cali in it.

Well Been putting a lot of thought into things, and I think I know what I am going to do.

I have been looking really hard at this truck:

I have a Cummins and a ton of goodies that will already work on this truck. Including a P-30 rear axle with matching gears so I could put a flat bed on it, I am seriously thinking about buying it, if I do I will be selling the 70.

And I will get to work locating another Cummins, for my 72 that has been a long term build, I think id rather see that truck go to my brother, a 1 ton dually 4x4 with a Cummins will be a much better rig for a Montana kid. Especially one who is joining the Navy.
