Re: Your first vehicle...lets hear about it!

Only 17 so mine was an 1980 Chevy monza spyder with the iron duke 4 cylinder and a 4 speed. Pulled it out of a barn in Appleton Wisconsin. Only had 89 thousand miles on it. Tons of hours stuck into it and I daily drive it in the summer.

Those were fun cars to drive. I had 2 over the years. Both were Olds Starfires, but they had the Buick 231V-6 and 4 speed manuals. An old girlfriends dad had a Buick Skyhawk with the 5 speed manual and had his engine beefed up with a 4 barrel carb on that V-6. That thing would fly.

Re: Your first vehicle...lets hear about it!

At the ripe age of 17 I earned my first truck this 67 shortbed 3ot l6. It was a farm truck from a local farm in Illinois that had 67k miles. Drove it from Chicagoland to New Mexico in 1991. In 96 I was living in an apartment had no money and no mechanical skills when the rear main seal went out I regretfully sold it with 84k miles still on it I got $475 for it.

1965 Ford Mustang, 170 cubic inch six cylinder with 3-speed on the floor. Drove it about a year, then rear-ended somebody at a stop light and sold it for $100.

1973 Camaro

1973 Camaro bought back in 1983/84. I took Auto Paint & Body in high school and did all the body work, paint, interior. When I sold it many years later, I practically had to give it away...now look at them. We all know how that goes.
