^^^So they say, but my '87 that I originally purchased them for, which had the 1" rotors, they didn't fit at all. It would have taken a spacer and some machine work to get them even close.

This application worked without ANY issue. And as far as expense...$230 + shipping for spindles, $70 for 2 cheap a$$ O.E. style 1" rotors, $36 for Inner & Outer bearings and seals, Loaded o.e. single piston calipers $58 x 2, S/S brake lines $50 on a good day, new grease caps and all additional hardware is roughly $525 + the mentioned shipping, and at the end of the day you have o.e. 12" single piston calipers. I bought the McGaughy front kit which works without issue for just under $700 shipped... Not to bad. Bigger brakes, which will look even better with the larger diameter wheel, correct fitment and I got the drop spindles that I needed anyway.

I didnt order my wheels from here, but how ever,, the box said the they were the -2aa wheel and the front didnt fit, it took a 1/4 spacer. I know I know.. I need to make the gap from tire to fender a looooot smaller....

They did fit three different sets of 1" rotors that I tried them on.
No machine work, no spacer.

Well I don't know what was different, but they sure didn't fit mine. Here is a pic I just took of the wheel with the 1" front rotor and you can see that the center hub is bottomed out, so no way to run the Boss center cap, and I would have had to put longer studs and a spacer on them to get them to work. This is one of the 1" rotors that came off of my '87 R10.

Ordered mine in February and I finally got them a couple of weeks ago. Just mounted them Friday. They're the new versions and I have the 1" rotors. Great fit.

wow nice choice for wheels.... gots some questions about ur awesome truck. wat suspension parts did u use to get ur stance on ur truck thst looks awesome and how much did those wheels and tires run u??

Me? Thanks. It's got coils that have been cut in front and hangers and shackles in the rear. I wanna add spindles and remove a leaf to go lower now. I got a really good deal on the wheels and tires, well I think I did. I ended up paying right a 500 for the tires and 1140 for the wheels including shipping. Had to wait like three months for the wheels though.

Ouch. They were under $1000 shipped (staggered chrome 20s) in the group buy. $1049 shipped on eBay right now. Not trying to rub it in, but....

I guess it wasn't as great a deal as I thought. I still think I did ok paying 16 for wheels and tires. Has anyone else got their chrome ones yet?

I've had my rears in chrome for weeks now. Still waiting on the fronts, which are trickling out from the factory. No hurry for me as the truck's a long way from needing wheels.

It was well under $1000 shipped for the staggered set through the group buy. Can't remember the exact cost offhand (had to remove prices as described in the GB thread). Have my rear tires and am waiting for the fronts to come off backorder, just like the rims. Ended up with a helluva deal on some really nice BFGs for around $600 total after a $60 rebate and some price-matching by Discount Tire.

I really wanted a set of these, but didn't have the funds to order. Now that I've read that they haven't fixed the issue, I'm furious with them for not fixing the issue, for y'alls sake.

Now my really dumb question.
I have 1.25" rotors and had the hub turned down to fit some wheels and tires I was going to run before (1956 Chevy Bel Air steelies, red powdercoated with 3" wide white wall tires), but changed the direction of the build.
Why has this not really been an option for anyone? it didn'y cost much. There appears to be more than enough metal on the hub (according to the machine shop that did it) that it won't weaken the part any. Just curious as to why everyone is going to spacers and longer studs instead of just getting the hub machined down. Is there a down side I'm not seeing?

I think a number of people ARE turning down the hub. Alternatively, the spacer needed up front (1/4") shouldn't require longer studs. Out back, running a spacer will most likely require longer studs (1/4" isn't enough to get the right offset) but more than 1/2" will necessitate an "adapter" (bolts to the axle and the wheel bolts to the adapter) rather than a spacer as there aren't spacers thicker than 1/2" (AFAIK).

So up front, turning the hub or running a thin spacer is kind of a toss-up. Out back, something definitely has to be done.

Who's responsibility is it for proper fitment when you order over the internet. Buyer beware and do your homework and then some. I was told by a distributor that the problem had been resolved, but when the wheels arrived, there was an issue. Gives a little more reason to buy local as well so you can go straight back to the horses mouth.

This thread,... all 39 pages to this point,... is about these wheels NOT fitting.
I don't understand what the surprise is.

Unless you want to use the 1" wide OEM rotors, they won't bolt on with out modification.
Some aftermarket 13" big brake kits work also.

I figured that if I waited they still wouldn't fit.
So, I assumed they would NOT fit and I would have to modify.

Hey Guys. I didn't wait for the -3aa version on the 18s.

So I have a question for guys that already have the -2aa 18s version.

What is the diameter of the hub that you ground it down to make it fit.
I don't know if a minor removal with a grinder is in order. Or, do I need to take it in an have it machined?

Also, how much of a spacer do you need with the above diameter?

Right now as it stands, if I push the wheel as far on the hub as possible, there would have to be a 1" spacer. LOL

So I decided to just drive around and find a machine shop that can turn down the hub. I turned into a parking lot, and this is what I saw parked in back. It belongs to one of the guys that works there. And no, he does NOT belong to the forum. He has the Boss 338 in 18s. He did a lathe on his hub with a 1/2" spacer. He said he could do mine and that he didn't think I would need a spacer.

Anyway, this truck is almost what I want my truck to look like.
Dropped swb, 18s and flat black.
