I've seen where the first showing of a finished project there's for sale written somewhere. Good to know it's not just a project to you.

Finally getting around to saying congrats on the TOTY award. It really looks sharp. I wonder if there is an award for the longest build? At least longest build thread? LOL

i think that you risking it at that amount they might think its a fair price , i seen trucks sold at that price at high end auctions
even if they where offering that you prolly still had to think about it , its taken you a lot of years to build it with youre own hands to get to where it is now and its a hereloom thats been in the family all its life

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

I think we finally have it running right, we replaced the Ignition Module and put new plugs in and dialed the timing in, i think it was running so rich that it had fouled out the plugs hopefully that is all behind us now !

On to getting it all touched up and get the little things all handled to have it ready for the Starbird show at Tulsa Feb 14-16 th !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

looks higher on the right than the left. You can't adjust that with the brackets?
That's all it looks like to me.. just needs adjusted.

Looks like mine had a little inward dip to it as well.. If that is what you're talking about.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

I have two bumpers here for a customers truck we are doing now.The chrome bumpers have the same dip you have in them.We are going to send the bumpers off to Sherms plating to have them stripped and reworked and replated. But this will cost some $$$$$.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

here is one thought i had, Clamp it down by the top edge to a flat surface and cut the liscense plate bracket top to bottom and see if that lets the bumper flex up and the weld up the pie shaped slit it would leave in the lisc plate bracket ? any thoughts on that approach ?
