I appreciate that Heath.......even though you took your truck around the block already.

You will be there soon enough Bro...
Thanks dude. I had my share of problems today. I POR15'ed my driveshaft and the yoke so when I started to put it in the trans it stuck.......solid. So I had to pull of the rear of the tranny and do surgery to get it out. Rookie mistake.

Thanks Heath! Looks like I missed this season. I'll be taking my truck to a show this Sunday on the trailer, but that really doesn't count in my book. Should have my MC by next week then I'll have brakes so in theory I could drive it. Just get it finished.......

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

In your video the rear bumper seems to be nicely tucked to the bed, mine doesnt seem to fit that tight. Did you elongate the holes on the brackets to bring it closer ?

I didn't do anything but put it on. It is still a little loose but that is about where it will be. Maybe you have Blazer brackets. I have heard that they are a little longer. I would start there.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

I finally got my breather cover installed over the air cleaner. It was a PITA but was well worth it. Always wanted to make a custom that noone else has.

nice job on the air cleaner !!! also i dont know if you want the letters to stand out on your valve covers or not but if you do Ecklers has the scripted logos in silver for $10 that you could put on them, just an idea you might not want yours to stand out

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

I buffed the truck again getting it ready for it's debut at a small show right by the shop. Finally I was able to catch a good shot of the paint turning green in the right light. Still gotta clean the rims up tomorrow cause the show is Sunday and it's gonna be on a trailer so the wheels and tires are going to be closer to eye level, so they have to be gleaming! I stuck the tailgate on today and was working with the taillight trim.
