It's a cool idea but I'm going to have to find some help. Engine cover with integral filters and Chevrolet script over the rocker covers and coils... kind of like the old school valve covers.

That is pretty sweet, but I don't think I'd give up the factory EFI if I'm using an LS engine. The air cleaner is from a Cadillac, you can get them from speedway.

I can't get this statement out of my head tonight... Makes me wonder; will my PB parts fit a 4X4 Blazer frame? Are the bolt holes required for the dropmember already in the 4X4 frame? I think Hart_Rod may have a frame that has been converted... Hmmm

I think the rear frame rails on a 4x4 chassis are straight unlike the 2wd version.
So the notch would be different.
Gringoloco's old blazer was once a 4x4.

Wasted income has a thread on his conversion. Turboed LS engine, too. I think he used the trailing arm PB setup.

I've read his thread, very cool build, he used some PB parts but not the kit I have. Thanks for the input.

Nice save by the wife, that would have definitely caused a headache. There was a 2 wheel drive blazer forsale on my local craigslist a couple weeks ago for like $2000-2500. It needed work though. I think it was a 71-72. I'll check to see if it is still listed.

There is one here on the board for $3000 but it would be a big project to bring back into shape.

Oh believe me, I don't need any help with Truck Attention Deficit Disorder or TADD. I'd really like to have a Blazer, and I have missed some good opportunities, but one day it will work out. For now I will keep plugin away at the old farm truck.
