...Found your build thread. A diesel dually! That's awesome. I don't think I'll have that kind of pulling power when I'm done.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Pulled it out of the garage under its own power this afternoon...
Best Memorail Day ever! Almost finished. Did the American Autowire harness, Lokar e- Brakes ( Awesomes) . Very pleased so far. Need to do maiden run. Have to put carpeting in and a few minor things.....

Right on! Nothing like a maiden run to forget about all the knuckle busting you have done to get there. I have a bucket list, to be able to drive my truck without any windows like I did when I was 17 after chopping the top.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Still back and forth about airbagging or lowriding my 49 3600. But it does offer a better ride, stance, etc. Mostly not interested b/c maintenance. I've digressed. Are you keeping the satin black or going to paint to match those lovely blue wheels?

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Brian, Yes, nothing like those maiden runs! Or, failure. My first maiden run in this when purchased and the one in my 56 210 were disastrous!
Dee Jay, I was back and forth also. I just wanted the look, and hopefully the ride. I finally got the straight axle running great, maybe should have left it, but I was really wanting to go this route. Sadly, many builds never finish, or owners never report on the final ride quality, comfort, problems, etc. When get seats back in and carpeting done, I'll be driving in a few weeks. On my build page I will report honestly how it is and whether or not I shouldn't have! Lower50, Thanks! Love yours too! It's refreshing to hear your rides smooth, I'm hoping that will be the case. I may be driving down the road grinning from ear to ear if that is the case! I still remember when I took the 283 out of my 56 and put in the ZZ454 that I have now. The first time I romped on it I just couldn't stop smiling! My cheeks were hurting!!! Phil...

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
very cool, congrats. it seems like the day will never come on that drive out of garage, but it does. then you add all the miles later on, and no matter what you will always be fixing or changing something. all the hard work and stress gets overlooked in the end.

I do very much like that the red wheels go with the red in the paint. Very cool. Did you lose the hood on the way to the show? lol

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Tried going through your build post to get the Cragar wheel size. Are they 15"s? The picture may just be a weird angle but it looks like you have a smaller wheel and more rubber in the rear than the fronts.
