I've used that before but currently bang for my buck I'm using UPOL liuid gold. that's all I pretty much use these days for filler.

Upol has a lot of good products for the money. We have used liquid gold before... good stuff.

i'm going with vintage a/c also. are you going to keep the vents at the kickpanel? will they be functional? does the vintage setup require them?
i almost started to fill mine in but wasn't positive if i should.

I am keeping the driver side functional but the passenger side will be blocked off. The kit I have came with a panel. Mine is a few years old, they have changed the setup a bunch. I'm not really sure what all it uses on the new ones?

Well, I have been working very hard on the cab even though the pics may not show it. I have a bunch of hours tied up in the stripping and bodywork on this thing. The roof was really fun, it must have had 80 hail dents. I then got the cab corners and rear ready for primer. I'll be buying some paint soon.

Believe me, those of us that have worked on trucks and stripped/sanded/bodyworked know that's a lot of work! Looking really good!

That's PPG Omni epoxy. I only bought a quart, it works good a little on the thick side since you don't reduce it. It covers good though. I want to try some that Matrix you told me about.

I dont think you want to use epoxy for a filler primer. At least we dont. Did you pick a color and i not notice? cab is looking great btw

Thanks Raul. It's a long drawn out process if you have a rust bucket like I started with. It feels pretty good to have a "rust free" cab now. Just 5 months in it so far.

Thanks Drew, Not sure why you think I'm using the epoxy for filling primer? I have a gallon of 2K high build that I will be spraying on this weekend or early next week. I think the epoxy needs to cure for about a week.

The colors I have picked is a Victory red and 521 GM White.

Dunno really.... got body work on the brain this week. Working on a 65 c10 for a client while trying to get the 68 rolling and things get backwards in my head lol. Red/white will look sweet.
