Re: My 1959 apache project

Man, she's pretty.

What's up with the hood? Still finishing it?

Will you drive it much? Daily or a weekend/show car type?

Everything looks great!
What do you think of painting the front of the radiator black to better show off the grill?

Re: My 1959 apache project

Looks great. What's up with the hood and front bumper, or did I miss it in the text somewhere? Are you keeping the factory hood ornament or shaving it?

Love everything you're doing to her. She's a beaut!

You make me laugh...you've gotten more done faster with a full time gig, 2 kids and a wife than I could EVER do. You've set such a high standard we're giving you schit for not being even faster Sorry, you're doing great. (I'm just jealous)

Seriously, you should be very proud. She's beautiful and you've got great skills.

Hey, questions if you don't mind:
  1. Will you rewire her yourself? Whose kit if you're using a kit?
  2. Will you bend your own brake & fuel lines? I've no experience but bought Eastwood tools to do mine. Can you please take detailed in-process pix?
  3. Last, will you chrome the hood diagonal braces? I want to but wonder if it will crack the paint when pressuring the sheet metal on re-installation. Will you texture underside of hood?
