Re: 1967 Chevrolet K20 "The BEAST"

Hey Dan, guess what I tripped over the other day....

A 73 Elky, it was Vato'fied w/13 inch spokes, and was pretty spartan on anything interior, but had a snappy 250 L6/th350 and was fairly straight w/some minor rust in the "trunk thing" interested? Asking $1300, I'd offer up about $6-800 and you'd own it I guess?? I have his phone number but no picts??

LMK??

BTW the cab is coming together, I junked a 67 cab that was near perfect (straight) except she had the Cancer in the cowl vents, althought the floor and rockers seemed OK, yeah I know, I suck!

Next winter if I make a nice snowball, send it to AZ in a cooler.. will you hit yourself in the face with it?

That's what I think of AZ guys trashing "bad" cabs!!!

all kidding aside I need to make a trip and invest in some SW sheetmetal for my next truck.

Re: 1967 Chevrolet K20 "The BEAST"

where did you find that? nice upgrade... I'd finish up the cab that you have and sell it to another NY'er that has a rusty cab. Or bring it down to Carlisle...

Re: 1967 Chevrolet K20 "The BEAST"

scraped all the old sound deadener out of her and sucked about 20 lbs of silt and found this... not too bad much easier repairs than the 67 cab earlier in this build

Re: 1967 Chevrolet K20 "The BEAST"

Most of the old gas caps aren't all that secure. Use any key and jiggle it around it it should open. If not, drill the cylinder out.

Re: 1967 Chevrolet K20 "The BEAST"

OK spring has sprung.... and i have what seems to look like a truck finally!!!
setting a cab and putting in new bushings/ mounts by yourself with a cherry picker is NOT fun..but its done. had to "test fit" some front fenders... so it looks like I did some work...lol

Truck is coming along man, good work!

How do you like the Fleetwood? I am looking for one. I used to have a caprice 9c1 and loved how it drove!
