Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
Patch panel in and first coat of filler on.
Poor dakota had to give up some metal for the patch panel. |

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
Epoxy primer on, waiting on it to flash to spray some high build. hopefully my other fender will be in next week.
The bed will be ready for long board with 180 next week then reprime for final sand. Hopefully both fenders will be primed by Friday. Making some progress. |

Change of plans on the color.
I shot the firewall today, so i can start getting the engine installed. What do yall think of the color? Sunset pearlescant orange, same color thats on my race car. I am going to two tone it with sandstone. |

Engine and trans sitting in place. I still need to pull it back out to modifiy the passenger side mout to clear the a/c compressor bracket. then it's in for good.
I made alot of progress this weekend, it's gonna give me a big head start on getting alot more done during my vaction after turkey day. I would like to have it running in the next two weeks. |

A good option for an aftermarket a/c set-up w/a Sanden compressor that works w/the remaining OE accessory set-up w/o having to cut the frame is this one..... http://www.kwikperf.com/lsx_ac.html

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
I'm not going to cut the frame, just add a plate to the back of the stand and slide the mount back and redrill the holes on the stand and on the adapter. Then i will get some fittings for the compressor from docs blocks.
Thanks for the info though. PM sent. |

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
Thanks guys.
Damage wasn't to bad considering how far i knocked the deer, Radiator support, new grille i just installed, lights front of the right fender and a/c condesor. Good news is i have been wanting to change it to suburban front, just not this way. Besides i am suppose to be working on Clifford. So here are some pics with the new front. It needs a new grille and hl trim. |

Man I love those front ends! It looks great! This style front end parts are getting pretty hard to find used any more.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
I got a hell of a deal on the parts, 1 mallard for the parts. I had been looking at the front end at a salvage yard that we buy from for a while I just didn't want to put in the labor to change out good parts.
