I dont know the name but i purchased them at "Harbor Freight Tool". This tool is really helpful when you are installing aftermarket panels.

Re: Project "Dirty D"

Here's an update:
-mounted front tires
-installed steering joints
-installed sway bar

I didnt place the spacer in the right location for the rack and pinion which bent when I lowered it, but wacked back to place and made the proper installation.

Re: Project "Dirty D"

I got some parts in last week and I bought some seat off of craigslist today. Can someone identify the seats, they say SS but I dont know if they are camero seats. Either way they have recently been upholstered with tweed and pay $200. I think I scored a good deal!

I got the roll pan and cali combo from Grant Kustoms
-14'' led rear brake lights

Re: Project "Dirty D"

I installed the carry bearing crossmember and it was a HELL! But it is slowly coming along.

I also removed the front crossmember and I took some measurment s for the brake pedal assembly and its not going to work. Its to wide and I will not be able to route my exaust and possibly hook up my steering linkage.

Re: Project "Dirty D"

truck is coming along nicely, i had the same issues with my scotts products also, nicely designed but poorly though out! i endud up having to run the exhaust lowert than i wanted to, the future will be a different story, exhaust will be routed throught the frame at the headers and then down the side of the outside of the frame. i like the products but they need to be modified slightly starting with the exhaust and then you will need to add a return spring for the pedal assembly or the brakes will stay on, i found out the hard way.

I bought it off ebay. Here are the details
Entropy Radiator aluminum radiator for '67 - '72 GM pickup, Suburban, Blazer and other GM truck applications that use the 28-1/4 inch wide x 19 inch tall core. If you need unadulterated cooling for your ride, THIS IS THE PIECE! Made in the USA. This unit features all aluminum construction, a nocklok forced nitrogen brazed core, two rows of 1.0" cooling tubes, precision TIG welded construction through out, aluminum stacked-plate oil cooler, strong 6061 hose connections, a stacked plate trans cooler with the correct inverted flare transmission fittngs, brass drain cock and overflow connections. If you're going to upgrade to electric fans, you only want to do it once. That's why this unit features the HP paddle plade fans - not the bottom of the barrel Spal fans. Spal makes a wide array of cooling fans - from cheap low powered units to high powered HP units. Don't be fooled into thinking your getting high powered fans just because you see the Spal name! Includes the aluminum shroud with dual 11.5" fans delivering a TRUE 3000 CFM. Together, they pull 40-45 amps (check the current rating on the cheapy fans that claim to pull high CFM). For a plug-and-play wiring harness and thermostat kit, please see my other auctions. This is available with or without the heater hose return connection - please specify at checkout.

Re: Project "Dirty D"

Well I been really tied up lately and have not had as much time to work on the truck. School, work, truck ,girlfirend.....Dont know if Im ever going to get good at something. Too much to accomplish in just a short of time.

I have been rackin up on parts and organizing because I have a hard time finding them when I need them.
-B&M stall 2400
-I bought a bigger cam so I went from mild to rough (It fit better with my application)
-Stainless tubing for bags,fuel,brake lines
-Air scoop

My rear set-up had some issue so me and Nate are working on getting that resolved.

Not much progress but the frame little by little is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (HOPEFULLY)!

Re: Project "Dirty D"

I'm still waiting on couple parts from Nate to complete my rear so for the mean time I started to do a little body work on cab and order a couple more parts.

-Radius roof panel from Scotts Hotrods (Had to tweak)
-Shave firewall
-PB adjustable trailering arms & adjustable crossmember (sandblasted and primed)
-msd mini starter
-polished a/c compressor

Im try to work on this sucker when possible but I have been tied up with work since Thanksgiving and also School all at the same time. But its going along little by little.

I also coated the inside of roof where possible with POR-15 for more protection. Might be overkill but wouldnt hurt.
