Good progress man. Looking forward to pictures and seeing it all go back together. I hope to have mine in primer in a few weeks.

fortunately for us californians, our junk yards aren't full of rusty old cars. no salt on the roads here. This is my score of the day. the only C10 in the scrap yard! more updates to follow

Re: My 69 lonbed

Wow, how awesome would that be to score a patch like that out of a junkyard. It really makes me want to move out west, build a truck, then move back east...lol...
Between having excellent starting points with minimal rust, and being closer to the parts suppliers...it's like a dream....but I know...grass is always greener......

Re: My 69 lonbed

Nice work on the center of the dash and the rocker. I am planning to smooth the center of my dash as well to make it transition to the center console I will be building.

Re: My 69 lonbed

I know I'm slacking on mine between work and family not much time...plus, I'm waiting for parts to arrive....I still have about a billion things I could be working on but it's hard to get over there w/ the hours I put in and still see my girls so the truck is the one that suffers
