Slight delay with the economy and all. Had to take two year hiatus to scratch build a new business and get it up and running. I started a sandblasting shop and am just working at starting to build an industrial pain division. Truck will have a permanent home soon as I get last car from winding down the hot rod shop out of the back bay. I'm in parts gathering mode right now. I am just striping anything that may be usefull from the test cab before I scrap it. Going to pull the mockup engine and get frame striped for modifications. It's looking sad sitting behind the shop on a pallet.

Picked up a gear vendors to compliment the rest of drive train and try and keep revs down on the highway.

To recap 454-th400-gearvendors-14 bolt with 3:08 gears 26" tall tires

I have also resigned to the fact I have to let go of my old hot rod dually that got crashed to make this one live. In addition to having one less project the old "Stealth Krewzer" will give up its 468 big block, th400 trans, 81 dually crossmember and associated suspension. Propane equipment and many other trinkets I'm sure.

The dually rear and back suspension will go to the greater good of widening my buddies slammed 3/4 ton crewcab. Custom tweed interior will go to another friends top kick crew cab hauler project. The body and registration is being traded to the CNC plasma shop and will become a rat rod convertable crew with military styling on another chassis they have.

Chopped 5 inches from the grill in various places to try and nail down the pontiac look.

Also did some chopping and mockup on a rusty tailgate to figure out my pontiac tailgate.

Should be game on soon for the truck, also got sidelined by building a beater Transam. Truck is up on chassis jig now and much design and mockup has happened but not much post worthy.

Mounted 6 235/60r16 tires for mockup, that will give 37.6 inches of tread across the back.

64 elcamino, will locate it in the truck by the steering column and widen drivers side till it meets pillar, cut it in half and make area next to clove box do the same and then fill in the center

Going to do an engine turned insert with red face guages and possibly even run the vintage wheel if I can find a suitable Indian head medalion to go in the center

The dash donor came from a car at the old auto wreaker where this whole thing started, my box is still sitting where I put it temporarily 2 years ago or more, gonna need it soon, better do something about that.

I know eh, weird. Only day this winter it snowed here, but I live in Canada so I guess I gotta suck it up and deal with it.

Figured it should motivate others who are whining and think they can't go outside to work on their truck because its a little bit cold or dark or rainy.

In Canada we hot rod even in the middle of blizzards.
