Thanks, i have a switch still installed but the tumbler is hacked so i'm assuming that if i can get the tumbler out than the rest of the switch is good and has the spacer.

Would a newer style switch with the accessory position fit?

Yes, if you can get the lock cylinder out without damaging the switch you can re-use all of the parts. If you drill it just don't drill too deep. Put a piece of masking tape up about 3/4 -7/8 of an inch on the bit and don't go any deeper than that.

Yes, it will fit but the wires in the connector will be different.

Got another question, do the tumblers interchange between the late and newer switches or are they different? If the same i would definitely order because i have no door key or ign at this point.

Are replacement 67 switches available?

Started the drilling process but not done yet.

The ignition cylinders and door cylinders are all physically the same '67-'72.

To the best of my knowledge all of the new ignition switches are the later style with the Acc. position. I have a couple of '67 switches but I haven't tested them yet.
