The wire you’re referring to is missing as is the hardware it connects to.

Found a old thread with pics so yes, mine is missing. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...9&postcount=12

LMC sells the cable, or at least I think it’s this. http://www.lmctruck.com/features/cb/CBBST.htm

The piece I can’t find is the mechanism on the passenger track.

Easy enough to fix that cable. You can buy a replacement or just make one real simply.

Bill

P.S. thanks for sharing the ride with us.

Give me a call whenever you want.

Appreciate it.

Attached are two pictures - one of driver and one of passenger side. Do these help explain what I believe to be missing?

Big thanks for taking a look.

That’s it! I did find a setup that a member sold me thst I’m hoping will be here in a few days. If it doesn’t fit would you be up for selling me yours?

Appreciate the help.

Indeed, I did get a very big thumbs up from a family that pulled along side. But I’m guessing you get more out here than we do here...

Thanks for the kind words about big blue!

About to celebrate five years of having this beauty.

Reminiscing about how it all started. Quite a journey!

Re: Tracking my C10 across the US

I followed it to see how the tracking system did (Ordered one should arrive today). Want one for my son's 72 GMC he's gonna use as a daily. Gotta have that peace of mind for security (his first, then truck).
