Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: off it goes

A lot accomplished since I last checked in. Great to see the progress, although I will admit to some twinges of sadness seeing that beautiful metal work covered by paint. I have full confidence that the paint will be beautiful as well, but that metal... Nice new pickup, and what's the latest with the big rigs?

Re: off it goes

Amazing as always, I'm excited to see the slightly new color and maybe even some under truck pics of the sweet frame stiffener and exhaust

In relation to an earlier post from you having noticed I'm in Lacrosse and you deal with River States Freightliner here....I almost took a job in parts there a little while back. Seems like a really good company.

That part is what is covered by the inner fender that they built.

Re: off it goes

Looks fantastic! Did you paint the underside at the same time as the cowl and door jamb area or is it painted at separate times?

This thing is awesome. The only reason I stop in here. Congrats on getting this far and not giving up. I'm not sure I could do it
