Doh... I knew someone would notice. Been lazy on the truck progress, have not even put my chrome replacement master cylinder on. Should be going by there today. But no promises on work actually being done!!!

A nice twist would be to recover them in the orange & white hounds tooth upholstery like the 69 Camaro pace cars used. It may clash with the exterior color but going to the black & white hounds tooth would fix that.

I'm sure you could get a sample of the orange & white to see how it looks.

I will be using the seat that's in my pics, bu covered in a light tan ultraleather. The doorpanels and a custom panel behind the seat will be getting the same treatment.

I really put some thought into this a while back and you are right about the clash.......it just didn't work with the color. I even purchased some 72 Blazer seats to do it with then sold them and went the direction I am going now. Just like you, I liked the Camaro throw back to houndstooth since I have the 69 327 emblems on my air cleaner cover. Too bad the idea didn't work.......

They are Slam Specialties 2600's with Blitzluft valves, actually found them brand new on Craigslist along with everything else I needed to install them. Yep I got lucky on that score. Start with ***************** they seem to be a great place to start.

The only brackets that are needed are the ones that bolt to the crossmember and those came with the kit. Everything else is bolt on.

I wanted to run them that way too, so I cut the flaps completely.

I wish I could say yes, but fundage is short. I have not even put on my new chrome m/c and I've had it for over a month and a half. It is getting discouraging.

I have the plates and that is really all ya need for the front end also Western 2.5 drop spindles to get it down a little more. Oh yeah, I cut about 3/8 of an inch off of the cup and that dropped it another 1.5 inches too.

No clearance issues on the front with 20X8.5 rims and 35 series tires with the width of your liking. If ya do a 4 link in the rear you will be happier with the outcome. I have a mini-notch too. I am running the factory rear suspension with an adjustable trac-bar with a 70 rear end and still have about 5/8 of an inch clearance with 22X10s with a 35 series tire. The backspacing should be 5.5 on the rear if I am not mistaken cause I am running a spacer on the rear. Here is a pic of the rear clearance airred out.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

how do you like the rims have you had to replace any of them and are there they very strong rims. i am look at getting a set like yours but i am afraid that 20s and 22s with low profile tires that the rims will bend if you hit a crack on the road
