Good eye! It's actually a fruit/veggie stand that also sells beer. I was there looking for potatoes

In the last few days I've completely redone the carb's linkage, wiring, and plumbing (step dad installed a new edelbrock, thanks, but not up to standard), got the fuel gauge working again (broken sender wire), stopped an awful squeaking (lubed hood hinges/latch), and got the stereo working properly (amp/subs were acting up). Definitely the suspension! It doesn't have to be super powerful to have fun in the twisties!

I think I agree with you guys. Been looking at a few options, but need to do some more research.

- Porterbuilt is at the top of the list, due to options, trusted design, amongst other positives. I think a mild front DM would pair well with NoLimit's rear coilover trailing arm kit and would keep it simple.

- NoLimit WideRide looks good, but I've read of teething problems which I'm not sure were ever resolved. Also don't like the idea of cutting huge reliefs into the inner fenders.

- Global West's option looks interesting, but they are stingy with the info. I'll email them to see if they can answer ground clearance, engine placement, alignment specs, etc. Downside, for me anyway, is that it keeps the steering box and linkage.

- Scott's, I'll be honest I haven't really looked at. Adding that to the 'to do' list.

...but part of me would like to go lower, especially after parking next to this pretty little thing. I'm trying to control the snowball. Once you go touring or extreme, the additional supporting mods get out of hand quickly

I don't think an extreme drop on coilovers is very practical, just too low. But it certainly depends on how much and where you're going to drive it. Don't forget RideTech for coilovers, site vendor MCB matt has KILLER prices on their stuff. There are a couple install videos of their stuff on here somewhere, definitely worth a look.

Ridetech makes great products, agreed, but the lack of wheel centering and no gained ground clearance are a turnoff. If I do go PB/NL, I'll likely use their coilovers. Though, the Vikings look enticing.

I really like the stance of this one (full PB coilover), though maybe just a tad higher in the rear for me.

That grey truck is sweet, but it is not an accurate representation of the REVO suspension height, as it was modified to sit a couple of inches lower than it's bolt-in beginnings.

I thought the rear might have been. Wasn't aware of mods to the front. Where is that info?

I followed the build on Lateral-g but that info was not listed. I was curious how it sat @ that point.

I have been looking at Fitech and have yet to see a bad review that didn't involve the back order wait time or the fuel unit (which I wouldn't use).

Ooh, I forgot about the RS setup. Looks good, but basically puts me where I sit now (see below from their site), not that that's a bad thing, and it's $8k-ish just in parts before additional mods (front + rear).

Ooh, I forgot about the RS setup. Looks good, but basically puts me where I sit now (see below from their site), not that that's a bad thing, and it's $8k-ish just in parts before additional mods (front + rear).

Update: I think I've pretty-well settled on PB for the upgrade. All of the others have self-eliminated for one reason or another; add to that I already have the PB sway bar mounted and have some "in store credit" with them and it's a no-brainer.

Working with them now to determine what the best course of action is based on how low I want it to sit. Also need to fluff the truck fund by selling off some "extra" vehicles...

Nate and his crew make killer parts, a touring DM with coilovers would be about as low as I could go with my local roads. Only drawback is having to raise the bed floor a bit...

Agreed. Killer parts. I wish the bed floor was the only drawback to touring height. I count steering frame notch, inner fenders, hood hinges, electric fan, high hump, shifter, exhaust, driveshaft, brake/fuel plumbing... and that's just off the top of my head. This is the snowball effect I'm wanting to avoid.

The bed on this one is raised 3" already, but I'd need 5" to clear the mild step notch, which would match the touring height front.

I just gotta decide how much that extra inch is worth to me
