Re: Hazel the older Sister....

I was checking out your truck for about the millionth time and have a few questions. What kind of trans cooler did you end up using? And I sorta remember you saying something about the cover on the firewall where the wiring harness plugs, just wandering where you got it or did you make it? Thanks. Your craftmanship on this truck is awesome...great job.

Sorry it took so long to answer your questions, the trans cooler is an 30" Finned Heat-Sink Cooler (Specialty) mounted on the outside of frame on the passenger side right under the door.

The cover on the firewall plug is a 1947 Ford Voltage Regulator cover. I've also used some old AC Delco's in the past but this one was just a little bigger and easier to clear all the wires.

Lowering the seat was more of a visual thing for me. I wanted the seat below the rear window. If your tall it will put your knees in the steering column, so I guess it would work out better if your shorter.

I'll have to get the paint codes (PPG) for you, I have them at the shop.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Ya I can defiantly agree that it looks better I can't see mine through the back window anyways thanks to the small window but it still looks a little odd from inside seeing how it still sit right at the window line. All in all probably still lower mine anyways knees in the column can't be to different from driving the forklifts at my work lol

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
