  Sunset by Denver, Co I forgot to mention, I got the crew loaded down so much that I had to pull my 1" spacers off of the back to keep from rubbing the rear tires

I quess he is somewhere around Calgary. Last message was at around 7 and he was about 90 miles north of the border. Thats a ton of driving, I wonder how many times he had to stop for gas.
I will have to remember to take my Camera to get a couple pics. Too bad the roads up here are crappy, or I would pull out the orange beast to our meeting. Again safe driving, must be about 1/2 way there. Darren

Had a good chat with Joe yesterday, what a load on the way north. Im glad the weather cleared up for him, Saturday we had 10 inches of wet snow, good thing it warmed up for Sunday and melted most of it.
Great to hear he is having a good trip , and hope it continues for the rest. Thanks again for the parts. Darren

Thanks for keeping an eye on our progress!!
It was cool to meet you Darren! I forgot about the Burb overhead console that I was going to give you along with the other stuff.... Kevin is right, we are in B.C. Fort St. John to be precise.  I'll have tons of pics when the trip is done. It is kinda a pain to post multiple pics from photobucket mobile. We had 2 flats at the same time on the wife's Element. I had to pull the tires off and haul them 20 minutes back to grand prairie AB. I got them repaired at walmart for $22.50 each  and to think I thought a $12 flat repair was steep That killed part of the day... Oh well it's all an adventure  I was super stoked to finally be on the Alaska Highway  Check out this super clean crew cab dually I saw in Red Deer AB  The wife is following me and said throughout the entire trip people are breaking their necks trying to get a second look at my truck. We parked here in Fort St. John and 2 guys in a Dakota pulled up beside me to take pics of my truck, I rolled down the window as he was driving off and the guy yelled "cool truck man" Posted via Mobile Device

Ouch on the flats, but at least you didn't have to buy tires! There is always a bright side.

We had a little bit of fun yesterday, I topped a hill and started down the other side. Pushed on my brakes and the truck jumped to the left like the right brake wasn't working. Made it down the mountain and crossing the bridge at the bottom I noticed smoke behind me. I just knew I had brake problems and I smoked the brakes. Luckily there was a lodge/restaurant/gas station right there. Pulled in there and saw there was a trail and puddle of trans fluid under the truck. Turns out I got a pin hole in a rubber hose on my trans lines. It was spraying all over the passenger inner fender and brake/wheel. I was able to bend the hard lines and shorten the rubber hose to reuse it. Got it fixed, bought a couple cans of brake clean for $6 each and a couple liters if trans fluid for $8 each and we were back on the road. My brakes still pull the the left so I'll throw some new pads on after we get home. Posted via Mobile Device
