Re: Show Us Your Lits

Here's a neat little thing I found at an ATCA show a few weeks ago. Back then they did the generic thing with ads. They seemed to mock the GMs on one and a Ford on the other, but the back says something about Cheyys. Reading has been my truck body/tool box company of choice,so this covers both my choices for work equipment. My '92 has one of these space capsules on it now. I've never left earth with it,though:

Re: Show Us Your Lits

My lits are lop sided. A bit heavy on the GMC side. I have a new pair coming any day.

That's a good one. I didn't realize Wayne did these conversions. I did know they did bus bodies

Re: Show Us Your Lits

Still one of the best thread titles of all time.

I love going back and looking at all the lits people have posted. The lits are all getting up there in age now, but I still don't mind looking at them.

Re: Show Us Your Lits

That site has a whole lot of brochures, but the focus is on cars. Very weak on truck stuff. I would expect to see more 67-72 truck stuff. Thanks for sharing. I do appreciate what they do have.

I was just wondering something, has anyone started a picture thread to show rears? I'm really fond of those, too

Re: Show Us Your Lits

My rear is really dirty at the moment, and tends to leak a bit, so I don't think anyone wants to see that... of course I mean the rear in my Mustang... not my truck.

I love that big Stepside picture. As far as I know the high-side racks were "equipment shown available from your local upfitter" type of thing. They didn't put such a disclaimer in the ads back then. I just pulled it out to check. What II did discover is I shot changed us. It folds out twice as much. I guess I was in a hurry this morning when I took the picture. Check back later tomorrow. I'll get pictures of the rest and post them. Camera is in the truck, it's raining, I'm tired, and my typing figer is sore.

Here's something else till then:

Re: Show Us Your Lits

Yeah, I had some Dodge ads from when Don Knotts was in them. After all, he's a real Dude. I also had a '69 Dodge W200 Utiline (originally was a Sweptline) at one time. It was a great truck until you needed parts from Dodge. It was hard to get parts for it when it was 8-10 years old. One of the things that I went exclusively GM
