I never realized there was anybody so close to me. We are almost neighbors. This truck has already went to the scrap yard but I still have 7 more trucks at my barn. I do not have a good set of trailing arms off of a truck at this time. I have one set I have removed that would be usable but are spread open with rust between the rails. I am not sure if I have a good regulator but what year do you need? 67-71? I have a couple 1/2 ton trucks that might have a usable pair of cables but I will need to check. It will take a few days.
I was going to pull the motor out of mine and stick in there but mine was in better shape so I told the guy I will pass on it. I have a 72 I just got recently from a guy in Brazil. This month would be 1 year for me here, I moved up from NC last Dec. Had a 72 down there but didn't want to tow it over the mountains so I sold it and now I have another one cause I missed these trucks already.

This site is a great place to learn what you need to know. I will get you some pictures. Are you going with a column shift? Will you need linkage or just going with a floor shift?

Great to hear. Maybe sometime we can meet up at a local show or something. Keep me in mind for local parts also. Like I have said before I have 7 trucks sitting at the barn and parts from several others.

I am not positive but I think the turbo 350 and turbo 400 used the same crossmember but bolted in different locations but I am not sure how the 4L80 will work. Might want to search the message board or post a new thread in the engine/ drivetrain area to get an answer.

Sounds like you have a project but got a lot accomplished, just not in a good direction. I do not think I have any good door sill plates, outside mirrors, washer pump or 67 arm rests. I have an inside mirror but not the 67 specific style. I would think the doors and front bumper would be good local items because of the shipping charges. What color defrost vents? Waht part for the door lock? Keep your eyes here on the classified ads and I am sure you can find anything you will need. What one guy does not have there are several others that do have. thanks

Re: Parting out a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne C10 Rusty

I may have missed it while reading this thread, but do you still have the door panels? I was also wondering if you had that original radio head unit? If so, how much for it all shipped to 33033? Thanks!

The door panels are still available. Did you see my pictures and discription in post 28 & 29? I can do $50.00 shipped. The truck did not have an original radio. It had the dash cut and a Delco am/fm cb in it.

Here is my list. The only body parts that I saved was the roof panel. The body was extremely rough and what looked good in the pictures was full of bondo and rusted out on the backside.

The GMC I have does not have letters on the hood. Do you need the trim that goes around the headlights that attach to the grille or do you need the part the bulb fits into and the trim ring that holds the bulb in?

I have them and will check the condition when I can.

As far as I know 67 Chevy and GMC are the same (same as 68 but no marker light) 68 Chevy and 68-72 GMC are all the same and 69-72 Chevy are the same

Seem like drivers condition except the passenger side one the stiching has came loose. They need cleaned but I feel usable. Here are some pictures.

I have bought most of my trucks without engines so I do not have any pulleys or exhaust manifolds at this time.

Sorry, I did not get the other items checked this weekend. I will let you know. If I have not told you the insurance claim is in the process. Thanks, Todd
