Thanks guys! I'll start a build thread on the "other" truck soon. The owner wants to wait a little while to start a build thread. The rendering for it should be finished soon.

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

Thanks, buddy! I kinda wondered if you had used a bead roller/panel flanger, but thought, "Naw, you wouldn't be able to get those neat curves." Learn something new every day.

Thanks, I built another firewall for my Dads 53' in the shop yesterday. I'll post pics of it next week. We're going to put a different design in it. If you have any questions about anything just ask.

The frame has hand prints and dust all over it in the pics I'll post better pics when we finish assembly and give it a good wash before bolting the cab back down.

Thanks

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

would you ever consider coating the frame or firewall with raptor? Why or why not? I heard that this stuff is great.

I would never use it on the firewall or frame. I only use it for the underbody. Paint just looks alot nicer in my opinion.

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

looking vey nice, what do you plan on doing for the upper radiator hose? I have the same setup and used a adjustable one from street and performance. a little pricey but it works so far, maybe one day i will finish my project and get it on the road.
