Re: Whats your trucks name

I call it 'the truck' (cause it's the only one we own), and the wife calls it 'shruck' for the green character in the movie 'shrek'

she even wanted me to get personalized plates for it that said that

my 68 has been named Ballast. all it does is sit in the driveway sucking up space. if things keep going the way they have been lately it will change to "dumpster.

Re: Whats your trucks name

I call her "Annie", as in Shy Anne. I've never named any of my vehicles before, but this one spoke to me on our maiden ride together. It was a two hour ride in the rain at night, and her name popped into my head. What can I say?

Re: Whats your trucks name

I refer to my '69 Chevy as "the white truck, or the Chevy."
And my '72 GMC as "the blue truck, or the GMC."

Now, the previous owners called my '72 Plymouth "Elvira." I still use that name because I think it may be a problem trying to change it. Kinda like giving a puppy a new name.

Mine is Marge. She was my grandpa's farm truck, but I brought her home after my grandma, Marguerite, died.

Re: Whats your trucks name

Rover II (2) My dad had a 71 GMC back when he was running his own business, he painted it tremclad blue and drove it, Its Name was Rover because it was a dog of a truck, built from 3 or 4 other ones. Now were brining it back!

Our truck is a 71 GMC aswell, but with a chevrolet front clip. and its going to be built from 2 or more other trucks so i think it has earned the name Rover II

Re: Whats your trucks name

Ole Blue or when it acts up the Royal Pain (and a few other names that I cant post) wife calls it "The Ole B*&^#h" when it acts up when she drives it . But whatever I call it I still give it the much needed TLC that it was deprived of for so long. Oh and BTW wifes cars named BloodClot (All red well maroon so it looks like a blood clot ).
