The pan was about 115.00 Heads are 781s ported polished ss valves. new guides. seals and such..

Headers came in, i am very impressed. The flange on these are awesome thick. i high doubt i will ever have a warping problem.

They look incredible but the driver side looks like you will have some spark plug access problems. Im hating my headers ATM. Cant tighten the plugs much more them hand tight.

highperf i just had a 5inch autometer tach. Got my valve covers in today also. Now parts are stackin up.

Got half of the bottom end assembled tonight, then i ran out of time and had to come home and study for a test i have tomorrow. heres a few pics.





I am for sure going to have to check piston to valve clearence, has me a little worried.

It looks to me like you're going to have to check piston to head clearance! It looks like it is sticking out of the friggin block.

You guys got me even more worried, not honestly tho i put a machinist straight edge across it and its level not above the deck. the pics do make it seem that way.
