Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!

We put the box on & drove it home. Here is the pic. of the 10 yr old BABY at home. Someone asked about a closeup of the paint,so here is a pic. for you, also. FYI, it is the color of the 2010 Mustang? Hope a chevy can run with F--d skin on it? LOL! It has the Boyd Carrington wheels with Kumbo tires. Here is a closeup of the wheels. It is titled, licensed & insured. We have to finish it off next Tuesday. It has to have the inner fender panels, outside dr. handles, rear view mirror & some wiring completed for the power window & dr lock.

What kind of exhaust is that? Looks sort of low in the rear, like it might hit the road?

They weren't that low.really. They are 2 1/4 exhaust. That was the way they laid,UNTIL we got the tips & rearranged the length & angle to what you see now. I sent the new pics & they look great. What do you think?

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!

As mentioned before, the paint is the same as a 2010 F--d mustang. I hope a chevy can run ok with a F--d skin on it? We will see! LOL! Yes, I have seen 1 of them on the road,BUT I didn't have this 1 out at that moment. Thanks for the compliments!! Howard

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!

We had a front end alignment & had the guy cut & install the tips correctly! Here is the way they ended up. #1. is the tips installed & #2. looks down from the box so you can see how far from the box they are. They are 2 fingers between the box & the top of the tips. #3. All finished off with a different view. Howard

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!

Well it is that time again! Got ran into last year & awaited to get it redone after coming back from AZ. The woman backed into me at a bank = $1200 damage. Under no fault, each pays their deductable if you want it fixed & of course I want my done. He is repairing as I type & should be done by Monday. He also installed a radio & we have now installed the correct side mirrors. They really look great. Will keep you posted with pics after it gets home!!
