Crewcab67. What all did you need to get the cupmter in the dmax to run in the truck? I want to put one in my truck but I'm a little lost on this area.

Re: crewcab67

This is definitely a cool build! Can you provide some details on how you bent the trim to fit around the stepside fender?

I have seen pics on this site somewhere of one done like you are describing. Hart rod had a crew 67 I think that had a different b pillar but still wasn't two cabs put together like this style. Are you gearing up for a crew build?

Re: crewcab67

There is a "Scotts" crewcab within a few hundred miles, If I could get the guy to call me back I was thinking of purchasing. I would want to straighten the back window but it appears that the door will be longer than that of the suburban back door. SO i was curious to see if this had been done before, which I am sure it has. It seems to be the simpliest was to get a true funtioning 4 door as building the 4th door off of a sub. platform seem to be really time consuming not to mention the talent needed.

Re: crewcab67

I have thought about using two cabs to build a crew similar to a Scott's cab but I'm not sure it would be any faster than starting with a burb hull. I definitely like the idea of full back doors. I think you could make the front part of the window square and get it to work. It would dramatically help the look for sure.
